On December 12th 2018, Symposium on Chinese Enterprises Investing in the United States was held in Xi’an-Amazon AWS Joint Innovation Center (Chanba Ecological District, Xi’an, Shaanxi). The symposium was co-organized by U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in China and Tong Ze Group. The representatives shared their experiences and discussed the opportunities and problems about investing in the United States.

The symposium was chaired by Mr. Zhuo Zefan (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tong Ze Group), Mr. Yang Liuqi (Secretary of the Party and Labor Committee of Xi’an Chanba Ecological District) delivered the welcome speech to greet representatives from the United States and all the participants, he also introduced the industrial layout, ecological development, population structure and cultural background of Xi’an and Chanba Ecological District. Mr. Scott Pozil (Commercial Counsellor of the U.S. Embassy in China) made brilliant speech on the background and detailed content of their project about Chinese Enterprises investing in the U.S. The aim of the project is to actively promote Chinese enterprises to invest in the United States and strengthen the Sino-U.S. exchanges and cooperation.

Symposium on Chinese Enterprises Investing in the United States successfully promoted Sino-U.S. business exchanges and played an active role in advancing Chinese enterprises’ investments in the United States. It established channels for Chinese enterprises to invest in the U.S., and promoted exchanges and cooperation in the fields such as science and technology, finance, advanced manufacturing, culture, trade, education and medical treatment etc. between China and the U.S. which would result in a win-win situation for both of the nations.
